I am never sure if Alex will fit me or not- I can be anything from an 18 to a 14W- so this 16 was a gamble. But it's gorgeous. I have had dresses made to measure that did not fit this well. FYI- Have a 42 inch bust and am 5 feet 9 inches. My hips are big- but the skirt is pretty full. I actually tried the dress on over some capri tights for working out (was so excited by beautiful dress I forgot I had them on) and it fit just fine. You will want to be CAREFUL with this- it could snag easily. The dress says to take jewelry OFF before putting on the dress- and a bracelet that was not smooth would definitely snag this when you walked or gestured. But the dress is stunning. Perfect for cruises (what I wanted) and perfect for mother of the bride.Beautiful dress. My mom wore it for my brother's wedding and she looked absolutely radiant. It fit perfectly. Size 6P.
