Love this dress. Skirt on bottom is mini, as shown, and hugs the bum. Top portion is two layers and totally hides any midsection issues. Cannot wear with typical bra because of the sheer panel in back. I will wear with one of those sticky bras that is just the cups, but the double layer of fabric may enable others to go braless (I'm too busty to be comfortable without). Small issue, and thus the one star deduction, is the zipper, located under the arm, is a pain to use because it is inside the top layer. I have to do it halfway from underneath, and finish from the top. Just a minor nuisance. The zipper and hook and eye also stick out a bit right at the top, which is right under the arm. Kind of interrupts the look. Again, minor issues, but also seems to me there'd be a better solution to both.I am a size 6 in almost everything, but go between a small and medium. Got this in a medium based on size chart and glad I did. If in between sizes, you may want to go up. Otherwise, true to size.The top of the Dress was way too big and there was a rip along side the dress
