How to Determine Your Dress Size??? 1 Measure your bust. You'll need to measure the fullest part of your bust (NOT bra size) to get the proper measurement . Keep the measuring tape snug but not too tight. 2 Measure your waist. Bend to one side and find your waist's natural crease. At the crease, measure around your waist, making sure that the measuring tape is a bit loose. You can also find your natural waist by measuring 2 inches up from your belly button. It's usually the smallest part of your waistline. 3 Measure your hips. Stand with your feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear. This is typically midway between your crotch and your belly button. 4 Look at our size chart. Keep in mind that size charts tend to be different for different styles, you can use the size chart as a basic guide. Always choose the larger size if your measurements come between two sizes. Avoid the dress size generators, as they tend to give you the wrong sizes.

This is an amazing dress. Oh my gosh fabulous quality!! Really was past expectations, pictures and reviews. We loved it! Ok, we ordered 5 dresses for my daughter to choose 1 for a school dance. This one got a 12 out of 10 but we didn't choose it. Here's why, this dress is RED CARPET knock out gorgeous. It is an amazing quality of fabrics. The skirt is full, full, full with 3 layers of skirt. The top layer is a soft, shiny silky black sheer. The next layer is also very gorgeous fabric, soft and full, not a "lining" quality. The inner layer is the lining but is also full and a very good quality fabric.The bodice is well constructed and my dress had no loose gems or rhinestones. It has a padded bra area. It fit very well with the bodice area being flattering and not being too low cleavage wise. There are extra gemstones that were included along with a very long silky scarf. The rhinestones are amazing at capturing the light and are mainly gold/cream tones, very warm and rich with irrediscent (sp!) colors and blue and peach. Gorgeous. The skirt length is long all around. It has a very nice "puddle" of fabric all around it and a silght train. My daughter was wearing 3-4" heels and is 5'6" and still had a good 4" of fabric all around. This is the reason it wouldn't work for this function but she does modeling and we will be buying it in the future for a shoot. It's absolutely beautiful! Sizewise, she's normally an 8, size chart leaned us to a size 10. 36" chest, 30" waist, fit great.I was really nervous about buying a prom dress without trying it on first, but it fit perfectly. I am usually a 2 or 4, I chose to get the 4 and it fit perfectly. I got the watermelon color its like a hot pink but it's so pretty!!! Everyone is right about it being super long, I am 5'4, but I will just get it hemmed. I wanted a dress like this for my senior prom because I love that style but everywhere else I looked, this style of dress was always like 400 $ and I and my parents were not willing to spend that, so this was perfect!!!!! I was also nervous that the dress wouldn't come in time for prom, but I ordered regular shipping (free) and it came in 2 days! I am so in love with this dress. I seriously recommend it and even though it is long, like I said, the price for the dress is great so you getting it hemmed won't be a big deal.I really like this dress. I was shopping for a black tie wedding and really wanted something yellow. This dress is honestly gorgeous, but was a little too "princess like" for the event. The top bust part has iridescent jewel and bead detail. The skirt is a really nice material, which shows a little sheen. It's a very bright yellow (I was hoping for more of a light canary color), but it goes really well with the jeweled detail. The dress is long and would likely need to be hemmed unless you're 6'9. I'm 5'4, 123 pounds and the 4 was a perfect fit!I think this dress would be great for a prom or other outdoor dressy affair.This dress is absolutely beautiful. The price is fabulous, as well. HOWEVER, believe what is written by other posters. The dress is ridiculously LONG. I am 5'7" and had to have 5" taken off the bottom, my goal being to be able to waltz in the dress on a cruise. I paid $175 to have it hemmed, because it has FIVE LAYERS of chiffon and liner. So, if you add the price of the hemming to the price of the dress... it's still just barely worth it. (My seamstress still hemmed the dress too long, though, so I was unable to dance in it after all--major disappointment.)This dress is just as picture! Gorgeous dress I believe to be true in size. I am a size 6 so I got nervous after reading reviews saying to size up so I ordered a 6 and a 8. The 6 fit perfectly! Though there wasn't a much difference in the size 8 just a little more room in the bust. This dress is long so I had it taken up. Totally worth the price. It gets 4 stars because some of the beads/ rhinestones were loose and a few stray threads. Overall very happy with my purchaseGreat dress for the price. As good or better than the department store dresses I tried on. I ordered up a size and shouldn't have. I have a smaller size on the way now. The tightest part is just below the bustline, lots of room through the hips. Good fit for an hour glass figure, roomy at the top and hips and goes in at the waist. The top is completely embellished and then fades as it goes up the top. I'm 6 feet tall and the dress puddles on the floor when I'm barefoot, so if you're under 5'9" this dress will drag the floor even with tall shoes.We ordered this for my daughter for her junior prom and she was thrilled. As always, Amazon sent it in a super timely fashion. The "stones" that festoon the top worried us the most as so often they appear cheap when inspected closely but these sparkle with beautiful irredescence. There was a very small area on which the stones had been lost but the dress came with a bag of extras so it was an easy fix. Keep in mind that unless you are 7+ feet tall you will need to shorten the dress so add that alteration to the cost. So glad we too a chance on this dress!Quality: The quality of this dress is very good, doesn't look cheap at all.Fit: Ordered a size up because most reviewers said it was small. That's not true. I ordered a size 6 (one up) to ensure it fit my chest and it was huge. I think why people are saying it's small is because it's a very open chest line, but that should not be confused with the actual size of the dress.Bodice: The bodice looks like the sparkle continues down the waist some, but it was basically just a sparkle bra then tons and tons of fabric.Length: If you are tall, that's great. As someone who is 5'3 I easily had 6-8 inches of fabric at the bottom.Overall: Great dress, chest is not modest if you have bigger than size B's. Just not what I was looking for.
