I have been searching for patio cushion replacements for my 1990 white wrought iron couch and two chairs for two decades. Standard replacement sizes have never been what my furniture is (seat is 21 X 24, back is 21 x 20). I took a chance with this set and it works well enough. If you have that typical wrought iron set from the 90s this is how it will fit--the seat is about two inches too short in depth, and about an inch and half too wide. However, it works well enough. I don't have real 'sides' to my seats, just ONE thin pole that connects from the forward edge of the armrest to the bottom of the seat. It's mostly a completely open side so the excess cushion just oozes out a tiny bit, constrained by just the one thin pole. This is more of an issue on the couch as you have three cushions that are all a bit too wide all in a row and so the two sides (with the same thin pole on each side) ooze much more than the chairs do. As for the seat not having enough depth, because they are too wide, they are snug against that pole so I just pull them forward enough to look good and the pole locks them in place, and the space in the back doesn't matter because the back cushion covers it up.As for that back cushion...it's mostly comfortable but the stuffing doesn't expand evenly so it's a bit lumpy and it does NOT fill up the cushion. The corners of the cushion cover are empty and look silly. You'll need to buy some filling at a fabric store and fill that in (much like pillow shams on beds needs the corners filled out with stuffing as the sham pillow never fills it fully). The seat foam was HARD to get in the cover. It expands immediately and is a couple inches larger than the cover. This means it fills it out beautifully and doesn't get wrinkles or sagging, however one of the zippers broke open as I was trying to zip it up whilst keeping the foam from exploding out of it. I managed to unzip it back to the beginning and zip again and so far it's holding, but it's a lot of stress on the seams and zipper, especially when you sit on them. The foam being too big for the cover also means it's FIRM. I don't mind this that much as I wanted support, but it's not really soft or as comfortable as I would like. But it will likely hold its shape better this way.All in all, I'm happy because this is the first time in decades that I have cushions that look good and fit mostly well.
