Quite smart looking, and well made, but heavy before putting anything in. Two complaints tho are that the shoulder straps are too long even at their shortest, so fI've tried to put a couple of stitches in. The other thing is that the large front pocket gapes open so you can't put anything in.The bag is brilliant, it’s a bigger version of one I already have, I bought this one for going on holiday. It’s a good size, perfect pockets and beautifully lightweight. However, packing to go away tomorrow I realised the entire bottom of the lining in the middle pocket (the one with the tie atop) was not sewn in (a manufacturing fault I think, it just didn’t make it into the seam!)I’m taking it on holiday tomorrow though, a little sewing and it’ll be fine. I haven’t another that size backpack that’ll do the job!I totally recommend Kipling based on my other two bags, I think I was unlucky. Perhaps Kipling checking their sewing better may be a good idea.I do like how comfy the straps are with the extra padding, and how well my SHO flasks fit in the sides.I have other backpacks of different makes that are larger, but due to their weight and structure when sat alongside my small city backpack they both take much the same inside! So (barring the sewing!) I’m really looking forward to using my medium on holiday. (And after)Bought this backpack for traveling to USA. Trying to lug two suitcases and bag for essentials etc. always difficult with just one pair of hands so bought this backpack for essentials. I cannot think of any negative things to say about this backpack. It is extremely light, does repel water when its raining, has zips in all he right places to keep contents safe and unlike leather and faux leather it folds up really small to place inside suitcase if not required. Worth every penny. Even better that I only paid forty pounds for it.A lovely bag. Bit larger than I expected but that’s no problem, just means I can carry more! It’s a fab design, and, just like the other Kipling bags I own, really good quality. Lots of pockets, very strong , durable fabric and just very well made. I suspect I will get bored with the bag well before it wears out! Well worth the money.I have had several Kipling bags & they are brilliant. I like my new backpack but I am disappointed that the keyring strap isn't included.
