First and foremost, this is an outdoor rug. Some negative reviewers mention how it looks inside their home; however, this is and looks like a patio rug. It is priced like a patio rug so do not expect this to be a plush indoor area rug. The rug is rolled fairly tight when you get it takes a few days to flatten out. The light gray color is exactly as described, light gray with small, checkered stitching. The rug appears to be well-made, and I am happy with this purchase. If you want an affordable outdoor/patio rug this is it. I would purchase this again.
