Gorgeous economical gown on a budget. It was not sewn by Oscar de La Renta, so please... be realistic! For $100 it's fabulous and chic, and very unique! I had to trim a few strings, dropped a few insignificant sequins (think of it as the glass slipper they'll use to find you) ;) I will be hemming the length. I am 5'6, and it's about 4" too long. I'll lose the 1.5" of lace at the bottom unless I pay extra to have it reattached but I'd prefer it not be there anyway. I'm getting married in this gown at an evening winter wedding and my friends family all agree it's a perfect choice!Color: Yes it's a pale muted gold, not ultra shiny, and not a bright gold. Blush champagne would have been a better color descriptor than "Gold." Gems at bustline are mostly clear crystal in a silver setting, so go silver with jewelry not gold or rose gold, in my opinion. Bold rinestone or Swarovski earrings in silver tone match perfectly. My shoes are a sparkly muted beige (bone) shade.
