Schutz Women's Cadey-Lee High Heel Dress Sandals - Elegant Open Toe Strappy Heels for Weddings, Parties & Special Occasions

For reference, I have a low volume, slender foot, with long toes.I write this, as someone who owns half a dozen other pairs of Schutz heels - the quality and styling are generally impeccable. I find that my Schutz shoes to be every bit as nice to look at, and to wear, as my Tom Ford heels, and my Louboutins.I usually wear a size 6.5, or 37 EUR in higher-end shoes, including Schutz and Alexandre Birman (the parent company). These shoes fit true to size, except for the toe area.The problem with the Cadey Lee - as you will read in other reviews - is that the toe area cuts across at a sharp angle, where the fourth and pinky toes rest. I have long, slender toes,, which meant that my middle toes rested right at the edge of the shoe, and my fourth and pinky toes hung off the shoe and touched the ground.I sent the 6.5 back, and tried the 7. The shoe was too big, EXCEPT the toe area, which again, was cut on that weird angle, so that my fourth and pinky toes hung off the shoe.If you have short toes, this might not be an issue, but I would read the other reviews carefully.LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!!! My 1st order was for a size 9 which is what I typically wear in an open toe shoe. I had to return them and go up a 1/2 size and they fit juuuuust right. I could have even gone up a full size but the ankle strap may have been a little too lose.Very sexy slique looking shoe. I can manage to walk/dancing in these for about 4 hours before I have to call it quits. The ankle straps help to provide additional support and the front straps fit snug but not too tight. Def wouldn't mind them in one or maybe two more colors. Classic cut, well made... def a must have.These shoes look beautiful on, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with wide feet. My feet are narrow, and it seemed as if the foot bed was still top small. The ankle strap is also very tiny so if you have larger ankles, this probably won't be the most comfortable fit. That being said, I wore the shoe for about 6 hours (dinner, symphony, pictures) and they were light enough to not be too painful. I did do quite a bit of walking and was alright. Also, these heels are 4" so if you have flatter feet, I definitely wouldn't recommend these. I'm about a size 6-6.5 and these fit perfectly.This is a beautiful shoe!!! My absolute favorite and go to shoe right now. I originally bought the light nude color and it wasn't dark enough for my tan skin and wasn't really "nude" for me. I'm latin and I would say I'm a medium tan color. So I repurchased the neutral color and it was perfect. I thought it might be a pinch too gray but it looks like a nice neutral nude on me and I'm in love! I also have bought in black and pink. I have worn this shoe all night with lots of standing and I have to say that this shoe is quite comfortable. I recommend inserting a small foot petal at the ball of the foot to avoid toe overhang and bunched toes. But overall this shoe is amazing! Also this shoe runs a half size small. I'm normally always 8.5 and had to reorder a 9.I originally saw this shoe on Zappos, but I wasn't willing to pay $180. So, I'm glad I found it on Amazon for less!Normally, I wear a size 6.5 or 7 and since I read the reviews on Zappos suggesting to go up half a size.I did just that and ordered a 7.5 and it fits perfectly. The heels are beautiful, lightweight, and well made. My only suggestion is that you add a cushion for the ball of the feet which will make it much more comfortable to wear if you plan to wear it for long hours on end.I am usually size 7, but if you have long toes like I do then you need a 7.5. The size 7 my toes were hanging off the edge. Love the shoe, color and heel height as expected. Not your dance all night shoe, but if you are used to heels it can be an all night outing shoe. Front of shoe is narrow, which is why fit seems small. Picture description- as you look at pic. Left foot is 7 and right foot is 7.5. As you can see the 7, toes hang off edge and do so more when you are walking and foot slides forward. So they do run a bit small. If you have normal toes..lol.. you should be ok with your usual size.These shoes are GORGEOUS in black patent. Not too shiny and the leather is still soft unlike cheap patent leather. They look incredibly sexy, seemed to be great quality. I wanted to love them so badly. But they are terribly uncomfortable... as in my foot hurt after just trying them on, and the ankle strap was painful. I had to return them. The sizing was a little weird because the 9.5 was way too big and the toe strap was very loose but the 9 was much tighter and my toes hung over. Oh well. Better luck to someone else!Beautiful shoe, good quality and construction. Love the color. I have wide feet and bunions. The shoe bed is narrow so it looks like i have more flesh spilling out the sides of the shoe, but not enough, I think, to look ridiculous. The suede is soft and doesn't bother my bunions. Comfortable for the heel height. Highly recommend.
