Superior has several duvet covers at 300 thread count, they're more lightweight and tend to wrinkle. this 600 thread count makes it stiffer, thicker and warmer too. I notice especially because in my area we don't have much season for filling it with duvet.... I use duvet covers as a summer bedspread, makes the thickness and wrinkles more obvious. I also use a queen mattress for television viewing and make it like big daybed, that gets a lot of use on top, and these clean up well too, can be easily laundered. The open ends of Superior duvet covers aren't ugly to look at like some, these are well made and look and feel fine as long as it's at the end hanging down :)
