Gibson F5 fits perfectly. Major upgrade from Gibson wood case. Crossrock fiberglass case is awesome! Super strong, excellent seal, great hardware. D-rings galore and not too heavy. This mandolin is carry-on only but I wouldn’t hesitate checking it if there was no other option. For that reason I bought a Les Paul version for Variax JTV59 workhorse that often does need be checked. These are good. I’ve been around Calt0n for decades and Crossrock has what it takes to survive TSA, stagehands, and ground crews.
