I use this bag as a waterproof tackle bag. It's turned out to be ideal. It's large enough for multiple Plano 3700 boxes (I carry a minimum of four 3700 boxes and there is room left over for a compact rain jacket and pants, and anything else you want to include. My criterial is that a bag needed to be totally waterproof, sturdy enough to carry some weight, survive being transported in a truck bed and a boat and survive being opened and closed all the time. It also had to have a wide opening across the top of the bag that allows full access to the entire bag. This bag meets all those criterial. Cons: I wish the interior side compartment pockets were a little larger or had mesh storage for pliers, hook extractors, and small scissors that allowed fast and frequent access. I'm super happy with this bag.Updated: One year review: the bag has performed well and keeps contents dry after having fished in multiple rain downpours and thunderstorms. The two external zipper pockets are not watertight, even though they have what appears to be waterproof zippers. Water will pool inside the pockets. Other than that, this bag continues to be a great, waterproof tackle bag.
