I bought size 8. I normally am size 4 for tops, size 6 for bottoms. My chest 33-inch, waist 28-inch, hips 39-inch. Size 8 fit perfect with some room the chest.The material seems nice and the dress is classic, stylish, elegant with a hint of sexiness. Looks just like the picture. I wasn’t sure which size to get, so I took a chance and downsized, and I was correct. The material stretches so it fits well, had I gone for the larger size, I think I would have had to tailor it.The one thing I would change is, that because it is an expensive item, I would have liked the packaging to be in the same category as the dress, i.e. with delicate paper, nice wrapping etc.... it came in such an absolutely normal plastic bag, the tags were somewhat bent, and nothing special was included to highlight the luxurious purchase. One other thing I was pleasantly surprised about was the weight, the package was small and light, which will come in handy for travel.I hope to get many years of enjoyment and use.I'm 32-25-35.5 and wear a 0/2 in most brands. I ordered a 2 and amazon sent a 4 by accident. The 4 is a flattering fit and not too long for my rather short frame. As other reviewers note this is a dress for which sizing up may make sense. The cut is flattering and the material seems to travel well.Tight in waist and middle but that may be my body!!!I had high hopes for this dress, but was utterly disappointed when it arrived. First off, I received a size 2 instead of the size 4 I ordered. The seam on the vent in the back was split already and there was a white stain on the dress. I ordered the blue because it looked like a very vibrant blue online, but it was rather dull in person. As far as fit, I could fit into the size 2, but it was tight at the arm holes and around the bust. The draping in the front was not flattering and if you have any kind of a little belly you will look like you are pregnant in this dress. Overall a huge disappointment especially for the price! The fabric also seems to wrinkle easily. The " leather belt" looks frayed along the edges and not classy at all. I have many dresses that cost less than half and are of much better quality. Save your money.For larger than expected especially at the chest I’m 34 BI am starting a wardrobe capsule and this is the most beautiful dress I have in my closet. I am 120lbs, 5'2, petite and wear a 34D and I got a Size 4 in this dress. My only complaint is the length. It is 4 inches longer than my knees yet I knew I would be hemming the end because I do most of my dresses. It is lined, great material and it fits so incredibly beautiful.I read through the reviews and ordered a size larger based on what I saw, but the dress still didn't fit. I coyld barely get it over my chest and hips, fit ok in the waist. This is a gorgeous dress and very well-constructed, however it is not made for curvy women.
