According to the enclosed card, these are hand made in India. The faux silk is thin and rough in texture. I was concerned I would rip them when inserting a pillow form (these are only pillow cases; the Swedish store offers the lowest prices I have found on 26x26 pillow forms in both feathers and fill). The zippers are hidden under a flap in the back. The color is a rich cream, almost a very light gold. It goes well with our cream, champagne, gold, and mocha throw pillows and quilt. Overall I am still undecided - the color is great but the fabric is not quite what I was hoping for.I love these decorative pillow covers! Just what I needed to complete a designer look for my bed.
