Although the color of the dress in person looks nothing like the photo it fits quite nicely and looks very sophisticated. The material is quite thick and not breathable, maybe to warm in summer heat. The photo looks like it’s a textured material but it is not. It looks more dark gray with some white in photo but it’s clearly black and white square patterns in person. Hope this helps making your decision.Great dress! I'm 5-5", 140, fits close - maybe a little tighter than your typical CK 8, but it is shape following - not straight cut. It's a lush faux suede fabric, so any ruching around your figure (waist or hips) actually looks nice. It has a nice shiny gold exposed zipper that would look nice with gold accessories. I would definitely use it in the fall as a nice alternative to typical fall colors, yet still in a seasonally appropriate fabric. (Be ready for lots of affection: you will be "softied" on!!!!)Nice textured dress. It is however not lined. I'm 5'4", 132 lbs & 32D. It hugs me in the right places and looks fantastic with a black or red blazer. The neck is high.Fit was true to size. Dress had an odd, chemical like smell to it tgat took several times at tge dry cleaners to get rid of. Arrived quickly and it was beautiful!I am in between a size 12 and size 10. My hips fit for the size 12 and it is not too snug, but I had some extra room up top. This was not a big deal and I could still wear it and feel confident and comfortable. I really do like the length. I am 5’4” and it fell just right at my knees. Very flattering cut.The fabric is quite stretchy, design is nice and the fit and length is just right.3 stars because the bottom is not hemmed and completely fell out after 1 day of wearing.I loved the fit so much that I had it fixed, but I expected better quality.An absolutely beautiful dress!
