I had to return this chair and it took quite a while to secure the return authorization IN PART due to the location of manufacturer (Germany). I am in USA. At any rate the reason for my return was a defect in the 'stays' that hold the chair when it is open. When it was all said and done the manufacturer accepted the return and replaced it with their more deluxe model at no charge. The chair is outstanding. I am very happy with the product and would do business with this company again.
