Rockport Women's Total Motion Novalie Ankle Strap Dress Pump - Comfortable Heels for Work, Office & Special Occasions

Out of the box I LOVED these shoes. They look very well made and the foot bed is so comfortable. The back fits nicely and the ankle strap give adequate support. The problem I had was that the toe cover is shallow - my toes showed - and pinched me narrow. The rest of the shoe in medium width fit and the length was true to size. If the toe section covered more foot and was wider, I would have kept them.Love them! I'm 23 and I don't wear heels, I don't like them, I never did. The only time I wore heels growing up was for weddings, quinceaneras, and other rare occasions because they hurt my feet and I didn't like the idea of bunions. However, recently it hit me that I needed a good, solid, versatile pair of heels in my wardrobe, and I'll be damned if they weren't gentle on my feet - especially for a pair in this price range, I needed to make sure they're worth milking the wallet for. I thought of the style I'd prefer and found this style (so 90s!) in various brands, and then finally I came across Rockports online and they seemed perfect - only 2 inches high and cushioned!!! I love them so much and have only wore them once, but I am so looking forward to when I can wear them again - they add an air of class and maturity to my shoe collection, which consists mainly of sneakers and flats.This shoe was great but not a good fit at all for me. I tried 2 sizes and could not get the right sizing. To be fair, I normally do not wear Rockport -- I guess it's not a good fit for me.It's a really cute shoe but the toe coverage is short and the top of the shoe digs into the top of my foot - if it was just a little longer it would have been great but have to return it.I like the style and comfort. They fit bigger than expected.What a fantastic shoe! I love the neutral color and they are super comfortable. They also go with pretty much everything. I wear them all day and they keep my feet from hurting. The heel size is perfect and the cushioning really helps. There's no chafing or rubbing on the heel or the toes. I would buy another pair.I thought this was a pretty shoe. However, the heel was a little to high for me, so I returned them.My problem with this shoe, was that it had been worn. I needed it when I realized that this had happened, so I had no recourse. You could see on the bottom of the shoe and on the suede that there we marks of being wornedShoes were to be used for dressier occasions - would have been perfect. Unfortunately for me, the strap buckle was right on top of my ankle bone which made them too uncomfortable. I must have bony ankles! LOL
