Purchased this dress for a wedding and it is beautiful and flattering. The dress has a little stretch to it and the lace is soft but has substance. The sequins are the same color as the dress and add a subtle touch. I am 5'4", 218 lbs., typically a plus size 16. This dress runs a bit large, so I tried a plus 14 and it fit well but a bit tighter than I like. The plus 16 size fit a bit loose but was a more flattering silhouette for my figure. The jacket hit me just at the hip and does not have a closure. This is an excellent choice for a dressier look and can be paired with shoes and bag of your choice. Overall, an excellent choice-you will not be disappointed.My daughter was married in April. I needed a deep blue dress to off set the bridesmaids. This dress came and fit wonderfully! Easy to move in. Was given tons of compliments from our guests!!! LOVE IT!I love the dress. I exchanged 2 sizes and it still loose. My size is 16w. This dress was more expensive than the others I bought to try, but worth every penny! I am 5”4, 228 lbs pear shaped. This dress size 18W ( the “W” 18 Women’s, makes a big difference. It’s cut just a bit fuller in the hips and I needed this) My low hip measurement is 57, waist 41 bust 44. I have never felt so nice in a dress and have it fit so well! The navy is a good Medium to dark shade, and the dress has just enough of a sparkle with out being too flashy. I have larger upper arms and the jacket sleeve had plenty of room and camouflaged my upper arms well. At 5”4 it hits about 3-4 inches below my knee (tea legnth). I feel beautiful in this dress! The color is as described, very elegant dress.Love the length of this dress, not too long and not too short. Falls half way below the knee and ankle. Comfortable, Flexible material. I’m sending it back for a smaller size though. I normally wear a 16 and this 16W is about 3” too wide. Going to try the 14W.Attractive outfit, especially in the blue, and fits as expected but wanted to wear this to a summer wedding. The material is quite heavy weight and even if the jacket was removed this would not be suitable. Will keep the outfit for another function in cooler weather.Very pretty dress but fit very large.
