The N-3B Parka was developed by the military for flight crews to use in extreme cold weather and is mainly issued to crews assigned to troop transports, bombers and helicopters. This giant water-repellent snorkel parka will keep you far warmer than a short jacket, whether you're flying or have your feet firmly planted on the ground. When the cold wind blows, you'll be glad to have the drawstring hood and its synthetic fur trim. The parka features four front pockets plus sleeve pockets. PLEASE NOTE: These parkas are oversized. If you do not want a big, baggy coat, order a size or two smaller.

The weak point in these coats is the zipper. At the bottom it tends to pull loose from the coat and then it’s hard to get the zipper started. I’ve had 3 of these and every single one did the same thing. The size 3xl is tighter in the tummy than usual. You cannot beat the warmth of this coat. In my opinion, there needs to be an upward adjustment in size. Add another two inches to the chest and belly and then call it a 3Xl.
